I am a multidisciplinary Product and Interaction Design Leader with over 20 years’ experience shaping and delivering user-centred digital experiences across financial services, professional services, telecommunications, and energy sectors.


I combine deep expertise in UX strategy, interaction design, and design systems with a strong foundation in visual communication and behavioural insight. My approach balances creativity with clarity, ensuring every product solution is intuitive, accessible, scalable, and aligned with both user needs and business goals.


I have led the end-to-end design of complex digital platforms, from research, journey mapping, and prototyping through to delivery, governance, and continuous iteration. I’m experienced in simplifying intricate workflows, building reusable component libraries, and embedding accessible, human-centred design practices within product and delivery teams.


A collaborative and people-focused leader, I mentor and develop high-performing design teams, fostering a culture grounded in curiosity, shared ownership, and continuous improvement. I work closely with Product, Engineering, and Research partners to align experience vision and execution, ensuring design excellence and positive impact in fast-moving, cross-functional environments.

User Experience Manager – EY

2021 - present


Led end-to-end UX strategy and delivery across large-scale digital initiatives, shaping cohesive user journeys and simplifying complex workflows into intuitive, accessible interfaces. Built and governed reusable component and asset systems that improved consistency, accelerated delivery, and supported long-term scalability across teams.


Collaborated closely with Product, Engineering, CX, and Marketing partners to align experience direction with business goals, while ensuring WCAG AA accessibility compliance through structured testing and iterative refinement. Mentored and developed designers and cross-functional contributors, strengthening design maturity and embedding user-centred, evidence-based decision-making across the organisation.




UX Consultant - Cognizant

Dec 2019 – 2021


Led the digital experience strategy and delivery across key channels, unifying multiple product platforms under a single design system and aligning experience improvements with business goals and customer behaviour insights. Worked closely with product, data, and marketing teams to define KPIs, optimise acquisition and engagement funnels, and ensure WCAG 2.0 AA / EN-301-549 accessibility compliance.


Delivered a scalable multi-platform design system that improved speed-to-market and campaign consistency. Increased conversion and engagement through iterative, data-driven optimisation. Reduced production inefficiencies by introducing reusable digital assets and streamlined workflows




Lead UI/UX Designer - Adapt

Dec 2018 – 2019


Led the UX and UI design of a neuroscience research application, using a blend of qualitative and quantitative research methods to inform iterative design decisions. Also created and launched a new brand identity and website, establishing the foundation for a scalable design system. Working within an Agile environment, I collaborated closely with developers to ensure designs were both accessible and technically feasible, while also facilitating Design Thinking workshops to strengthen UX capability across the team.


This work resulted in the successful delivery of a mobile-first neuroscience app that incorporated gamification to improve user engagement and data capture. The new brand identity was rolled out consistently across digital campaigns, enhancing visibility and coherence. Through ongoing collaboration and iterative workflow improvements, I helped elevate overall design quality and foster more effective cross-functional teamwork.

UI/UX Designer - Vocal

Worked alongside a team of developers to build a football skills app for Manchester City Football Club, called SkillCity. I also worked on other projects as the lead user experience designer, creating visually aesthetic user interfaces.




Digital Designer - Target McConnells

Oct 2012 - May 2017


Played a key role in the companies studio where I worked as a finished artist, art director and user experience designer. I worked on a lot of the companies main accounts and projects. These included the Vodafone festival campaigns and rugby sponsorship of the Irish national rugby team in the Team Of Us campaign.


I played an important role in building the new look and feel to the new Topaz account and handled the development of the brand across it's online and offline presence.
